C&T 2017 is taking place in Troyes, Champagne’s historic capital, 1 hour 30 from Paris, charming medieval city, and European capital for brand outlets and factory shops.
Workshops and DC will take place on Monday and Tuesday at the University (first map below), and Conference will take place from Wednesday to Friday in the Museum of Modern Art (downtown – second map below).
Registration desk on monday and tuesday will be at the entrance of building M, starting at 8:30. Workshops will take place in building B (rooms are on the printed program). Coffe breaks will take place in Hall N, and lunches will be provided in the University restaurant.
From downtown, the bus to go to the university is number 6, direction “Chartreux”, stop “Technopole”. You can find the timetable online (website is in French).

1 – By car:
From Paris (160 km): highway A5, exit n° 20 Sainte Savine in the direction of Troyes on N60, and then take the ring road.
From Reims (120 km): highway A26 then highway A5, exit n° 21 Saint Thibault in the direction of Troyes on N71, then take the ring road.
From Dijon (150 km): highway A5, exit n° 21 Saint Thibault in the direction of Troyes on N71, and then take the ring road.
2 – By train (90 mn)
From ” Gare de l’Est ” train station:
From Gare de l’Est there are trains that go directly to Troyes. Departure is approximately every two hours during the day and evening. There are (yellow) machines to buy tickets, it takes max 2 minutes, and there is no need to book in advance. Please note that the latest train to Troyes leaves Gare de l’Est at 20h42. If you arrive later, spend a night in Paris, or book a shuttle from the airport to Troyes (see below).
From another train station in Paris:
Take either the underground (metro) or a bus and get off at the Gare de l’Est metro station which is also one of the main train stations. Then, take the train to Troyes.
From Charles de Gaulle airport (Roissy):
2 options: (1) ROISSY RAIL – go to the RER station in the airport and take RER B in the direction of the “Gare du Nord”. The ticket includes a Metro connection. Get off at Gare du Nord and either take the Metro, or walk (10 minutes) to Gare de l’Est. Total length of the journey is about 45 minutes. (2) take RATP bus 350 and get off at Gare de l’Est (the journey takes about an hour). The Gare de l’Est station is not located at the end of this bus route so make sure to get off at “Gare de l’Est”.
From Orly airport:
ORLYVAL: Take the automatic metro Orlyval to “Antony” station then take RER B in the direction of “Gare du Nord”. The ticket includes a Metro connection. Get off at the Gare du Nord and take the Metro, or walk to the Gare de l’Est (10 minutes). Total length of the journey is about 45 minutes.
